چکیده

Background: Adipose tissue pathology plays a crucial role in the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Understanding impact exercise training on adipose adaptation is paramount importance enhancing metabolic health. In this study, we aimed to investigate effects various modalities three distinct depots, namely, interscapular brown (iBAT), subcutaneous white (sWAT), and epididymal (eWAT), murine model diabetes. Methods: Male C57BL/6J mice received 12-week high-fat diet single injection streptozotocin, followed by an 8-week intervention. The intervention included swimming, resistance training, aerobic exercise, high-intensity interval (HIIT). Results: We found that reduced body weight fat percentage, diminished adipocyte size increased expression mitochondria-related genes (PGC1, COX4, COX8B) depots. inflammatory status include reduction crown-like structures factors, mainly eWAT. Besides, only induces browning sWAT, which may be related sympathetic marker tyrosine hydroxylase. Among four forms HIIT was most effective reducing increasing muscle mass eWAT size. oxidative phosphorylation thermogenesis-related sWAT highest group. Conclusion: When targeting improve diabetes, offer superior benefits thus represents more advantageous choice.

The Effect of Different Endurance Exercise Intensities on the Expression of RIP140 Protein in Visceral Adipose Tissue in Diabetic Rats

Objective: RIP140 is one of the proteins that play a role in regulating and metabolizing lipid droplets. The aim of this study was to compare the three endurance training intensities (low, moderate and high) on the expression of RIP140 protein in visceral adipose tissue and insulin resistance in male diabetic wistar rats. Materials and Methods: Forty male wistar rats were assigned to five grou...

Epigenetic Regulation of Depot-Specific Gene Expression in Adipose Tissue

In humans, adipose tissue is distributed in subcutaneous abdominal and subcutaneous gluteal depots that comprise a variety of functional differences. Whereas energy storage in gluteal adipose tissue has been shown to mediate a protective effect, an increase of abdominal adipose tissue is associated with metabolic disorders. However, the molecular basis of depot-specific characteristics is not c...

Exercise training attenuates neutrophil infiltration and elastase expression in adipose tissue of high-fat-diet-induced obese mice

The innate immune system is associated with the development of local inflammation. Neutrophils play an essential role in the development of the adipose tissue (AT) inflammation associated with obesity by producing elastase, which can promote the activation and infiltration of macrophages. Exercise training attenuates AT inflammation via suppression of macrophage infiltration. However, the mecha...

Abdominal Subcutaneous Adipose Tissue: A Protective Fat Depot?

OBJECTIVE Obesity is associated with increased metabolic and cardiovascular risk. The ectopic fat hypothesis suggests that subcutaneous fat may be protective, but this theory has yet to be fully explored. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS Participants from the Framingham Heart Study (n = 3,001, 48.5% women) were stratified by visceral adipose tissue (VAT) into sex-specific tertiles. Within these te...

The effect of aerobic exercise on epicardial adipose tissue, insulin resistance, and some liver enzymes in high-fat diet-induced obesity male wistar rat

Background and Aim: Due to the prevalence and socio-economic consequences of obesity in mortality, cardiovascular (CAD) and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease the effectiveness of aerobic exercise on epicardial adipose tissue (EAT), insulin resistance (IR) and some liver enzymes of high-fat diet-induced obesity male wistar rats was investigated. Methods: Thirty-two male Wistar rats with an averag...
